Clearwater Civitan Club to Honor Police OfficerTuesday, May 26, at 8 a.m., the Civitan bell will ring, signaling a call to order of Civitans, police officers, supervisors and guests at a special meeting of the Clearwater Civitan Club. The meeting will be held in Chief Klein’s Conference Room on the second floor of the Clearwater Police Department. The Clearwater Civitans will be celebrating their twenty-second annual Law Week Program, recognizing the Police Department Community Service. Sgt. James M. Quinlan will receive the award for Excellent Performance of Police Duties and Service to the Community. Mayor Frank Hubbard and the City Council have been invited to the ceremony. This is an open meeting of the Cleawater Civitan Club and interested persons are invited to attend.
