The Last Lecture Book Discussion Series to be Held at Largo Public LibraryLARGO – The public is invited to discuss the book, The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch, on Monday, June 8, 15, and 22, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This program is presented by Largo Public Library and the Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. On September 18, 2007, prominent computer science professor Randy Pausch, a cancer patient, stepped in front of an audience of 400 people at Carnegie Mellon University to deliver his last lecture. The lecture became an Internet sensation that Pausch eventually turned into an inspirational book. Largo Public Library is located at 120 Central Park Drive.
