Crime WatchMan Arrested for Second Degree Murder Following Altercation Police arrested Ricky Caldwell, B/M, DOB 9-5-63, 1012 Jasmine Way , Clearwater, for Murder in the Second Degree , May 30, at 2:43 p.m. The suspect and victim Allen Koger (Victim/Deceased) B/M, DOB 4-13-43, 710 Maple Street , Clearwater, began arguing in front of 710 Maple Street, Clearwater. The argument escalated into a physical altercation. The victim struck the suspect with a pipe and then the two began wrestling on the ground. The suspect then stabbed the victim multiple times. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died as a result of his injuries. The suspect was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries and released. He was taken into custody without incident.

Shooting Suspect Arrested After Showing Up for Court Appearance Police arrested Jerome Lowe, B/M, DOB 3-22-85, 1734 Fulton Ave., Clearwater. Charges were Aggravated Battery, Battery by Strangulation, May 29, 7:20 a.m. , at 1316 Terrace Road, Clearwater. The shooting victim was Ricky Lewis, 1316 Terrace Road, Clearwater. The Battery victim was Tigre Casselbury, 1316 Terrace Road , Clearwater. Clearwater Police responded to a shooting at the above listed address at 7:20 a.m. Police identified Jerome Lowe as the suspect. Lowe drove by his estranged girlfriend’s residence and shot Ricky Lewis, her grandfather, who was outside in front of the home. Lowe fled the scene in a vehicle. Lewis was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Lowe showed up for a scheduled court appearance shortly after the shooting, where he was taken into custody without incident. The shooting apparently stemmed from a battery Lowe committed against his estranged girlfriend, Tigre Casselbury, Lowe is facing an additional charge of battery by strangulation (felony).
