Hooters Donates $500,000 to Cancer Research

On Tuesday, June 2, Hooters Management Corporation celebrated the successful completion of their five-year, $500,000 pledge to the Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation in Tampa. A check was presented to Dr. Jack Pledger, Moffitt Cancer Center's EVP and Deputy Center Director. Hooters officials, including Sal Melilli, COO, and Bill Moore, Vice President of Operations, also took part in the ceremony.

In addition to the pledge, Hooters Management owned locations in Tampa Bay, Chicago and Manhattan have raised additional funds for Moffitt through various events and in-store promotions. Hooters of America and LTP, the South Florida Hooters group have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Moffitt Cancer Center over the recent years and have joined Hooters Management Corporation in the fight against cancer.
