Funraising Event to Benefit Alzheimer's Association and SPCA- Free Carnival/Health FairLARGO - On Friday, June 26, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m, Arden Courts Alzheimer's Assisted Living Facility of Largo, located at 300 Highland Avenue N.E., will be hosting a Carnival and Health Fair event to benefit the Alzheimer's Association and the SPCA. The public is invited (as well as children of all ages) to this fun event that will include: Carnival Games, Health Fair: Florida Blood Services Blood Mobile; Memory Screenings by The Alzheimer's Association & Madonna Center for Alzheimer's & Memory Loss; Blood Pressure Screenings; Glucose Checks, Body Fat & Body Mass Index; Strength & Balance Checks. In addition, there will be Antique Appraisals by Dale Smrker of Downsizing Advisory for $5 per Item/3 Items for $12. (Maximum of 3 items per couple), a Petting Zoo, Food and Door Prizes.
