American Legion Independence Celebration With "Honest Abe"Honest Abe will be making a guest appearance at American Legion Post 7's July 4th celebration. Post 7''s very own Jim Benson (Honest Abe) will offer a prayer and a few words of wisdom in honor of Independence Day. Festivities start at 11 a.m. Post 7 will have two of Tampa Bay's veteran entertainers Saturday with "Carlo" at 12:30 p.m. singing a wide variety of tunes for your dancing pleasure. "Bobby Palermo" at 7 p.m. performs the best of Neil Diamond, Tom Jones, Neil Sedaka and of course Ole Blue Eyes Frank. Every Sunday at 6 p.m. "Bay Area Single Dance" with DJ Mike playing all your favorite dance tunes is held. American Legion Post 7 is located one block south of Gulf-to-Bay and Keene (behind CVS Pharmacy), 1760 Turner Street, corner of Phoenix.
