Skateboarding Lessons Offered

Ryan Forss, 10, left, gets a skateboarding lesson from Derek Vandervelde at Largo Skate Park on a recent Saturday morning. Vandervelde will be instructor for the fall classes which will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Mondays beginning August 3. Students will learn tricks and skills using ramps, spines and more. Participants must provide their own equipment. Helmets and skate park waivers are required. Upcoming sessions are as follows: August 3-31, September 14-28 and October 4-25.
