Recs and ReadsBy Anne McKay GarrisGreek dancing. Wow! Have you ever watched Greek dancing and not wanted to join in? It looks so easy and, like most things it is easy once you learn how. It's also good exercise for the less than energetic. So, now we can learn Greek dancing at the Clearwater Beach Recreation Center. Socrates Charos, an expert in the art, will be on hand Thursdays from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. to patiently teach us, starting on Thursday, August 8. The cost is $11.25 with a Play Pass or $15 with a Recreation Card. Gather your friends and enjoy their company doing something besides eating a sit-down, probably too many calories lunch. Or, if you must have the lunch, this would be a great way to work off the calories afterwards. And, here's a reminder to computer users who want to upgrade their skills. The next computer class at the Recreation Center will be on Tuesday, August 11, from 10 a.m. to Noon. This one is about word processing (read that basic computer using), including templates, settings, labels and such. You don't need to bring a computer. They are provided. Call 462-6138 to sign up. See you at the dance!
