We have taken a class in yoga on the boardwalk at Bonner and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My husband and I walk to Bonner Park weekly and pick up trash and enjoy the relatively natural environment of the open space. My husband was a boater and enjoys being able to stand on the boardwalk and experience the intracoastal activity. The birds and fish jumping, the fisherman in the shallows, the occasional dolphin, make for a healthy moment in this noisy, busy world. We would assist in some way to help the city to afford this simple place. We understand that the upkeep has some cost. We are willing to help defray this with increased taxes as needed. Please consider this a most valuable asset to those who lie in this community. Do not close Bonner Park. - Barbara and Byron Rodenburg.
