Sculpture360 Artworks to be Replaced

CLEARWATER - The three sculptures that have been focal points of the redeveloped Cleveland Street Streetscape since last July will be coming down to make room for three new sculptures.

The free installment of Sculpture360: Art in the Cleveland Street District including works of artists Hanna Jubran, of Grimesland, NC; Claudia Jane Klein of Lake Worth, FL; and Bruce White of Nokomis, FL, have been on display since July 2008 as part of the city's efforts to bring high-quality public artwork to the citizens and visitors of Clearwater. The program calls for changing the sculptures annually and it is funded through a partnership with the Downtown Development Board.

The next artworks will be installed during the last week of August and the city is planning a public opening and dedication of these works in early September. Docents will be stationed along Cleveland Street to provide tours of the artworks and information about the Sculpture360: Art in the Cleveland Street District program.
