"X Marks the Spot" was the greatest!After just reading the July 30 -August 5 issue of the Clearwater Gazette, all I can say is: I am sure glad I live in Clearwater. "X Marks the Spot" was the greatest! Although I wasn't visiting Clearwater in the 50's, I felt as though I was. I could just feel the pulse of what was going on at that time, being a child of the 50's myself. Although our family vacations were to places like Niagara Falls, Jones beach, Lake George, and Asbury Park - what you brought back to me was the atmosphere of the times, no matter where, New York or Florida. We were at peace, we had with ourselves and our neighbors. We had Peace of Mind! May God Bless you, Sandy, your whole family and the Clearwater Gazette. To me, you're Mr. Clearwater. - Smokey Townson
