Baseball Goes to the Dogs for the 3rd Time in 2009CLEARWATER - The Humane Society of Pinellas, Inc. is excited to announce their 1st EVER Bark at The Ball Park III on Friday, August 21, at Bright House Field, 601 Old Coachman Road in Clearwater with the gates opening at 6 p.m. for a 7 p.m. game between our own Clearwater Threshers and Dunedin Blue Jays. Be sure to arrive early enough to enjoy the variety of vendors on hand. Allow time to socialize with fellow animal lovers and treat your dog to lots of free samples, a massage and a dish of The Gourmet Doberman Frozen Yogurt for Dogs. There will be a Ruffable Raffle offering great gift baskets, event T-Shirts for sale and their ADORABLE ADOPTABLE PETS! The new "EST" Pet Contest was a huge hit so they are doing it again! Be creative and bring your pet ready to be the most extreme in a category of your choosing as long as it ends in "EST". The final three at the June event were: Furriest, Prissiest and Sportiest, just to give a couple of examples. Bright House Field will have their usual amenities available: Frenchy's Tiki Bar and Home Run Concessions.
