Recs and ReadsBy Anne McKay GarrisOkay, guys! It's "use it or lose it" time again at the Clearwater Beach Library and Recreation Center. Although there has been no talk of closing our facilities this time around. You can't ever tell! My Grandmother used to say, "Life is so full of a plenty of things, I'm sure we should all be as happy as kings." So, whether or not you are already as happy as a king, or queen, please take a minute to stop and think if something might be going on at the Library/Rec Center that would make you happier. Or make someone else happier. The city has made Saturday mornings at the Rec Center available for activities for the community. How about you? Would you like to have a book club, chess club, card morning, or a discussion group? How about Wii (that's virtual bowling, wrestling, tennis or baseball)? With old friends, or new! Better still, would you like to put together a group for any of the above, or whatever you would like to do. Even better, do you have a talent, or a wish, to teach something. Right now we have a writer's group that is having a great time, meeting on Wednesday afternoons. Actually, it doesn't have to be on Saturday morning. It could be most any time.
