Dunedin Library Hosts a Variety of Storytimes for Babies, Toddlers and Preschoolers

The Youth Services Department offers "Baby & Me" Storytime for children up to 18 months and their caregivers on Mondays at 10 a.m. Focus is on the six steps to early literacy. On Mondays at 3 p.m., a program to enhance the musical development of children ages 5 and under is scheduled. The Melody Hounds classes are held in the Storytime Room. Wednesdays at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. are set aside for the "Toddler Time" songs, stories, fingerplays, short videos and crafts designed for children 18-36 months. Pre-school Storytime for youngsters ages 3-5 is slated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursdays. There's also the Family Saturday Stories at 2 p.m. and the Sunday Fun Days from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Please note there will be no storytimes on Sunday, September 6, and Monday, September 7, as the library will be closed those days.
