Southeastern Guide Dog to Host its September Open HousePALMETTO, FL - Southeastern Guide Dog will host its September Open House from 9 a.m. to noon on Sept. 12, at the school's beautiful 23-acre campus at 4210 77th Street East in Palmetto, just a short distance off I-75 and I-275. Visitors can stroll along the scenic Freedom Walk, visit the puppy playground, or experience what it's like to walk blindfolded with a trained dog. Go inside the puppy and adult dog kennels and see how guide dogs are trained for the valuable service they provide. You also won't want to miss a chance to hug the adorable puppies. The open house is free and open to the public. Light refreshments available; and the gift shop will be open. Please leave your pets at home.
