I appreciate your efforts to keep the Preserve available to the public but I am concerned that the amount mentioned ($16,000?) is about half of what is needed to do the job correctly. I don't think any of us like to do a half-way job. Hopefully, you will be able to find the other funds. If you are going into the Fund Balance, then "in for a penny; in for a pound." Otherwise, I would hope you would simply maintain the Preserve at some basic level until the time that it can be funded and open to the public properly. I am sure you are aware of how difficult I find my recommendation. Thank you all for your service to our community during very trying, social and economic times.
