Moffitt Cancer Center, American Brain Tumor Association Host Brain Tumor Talks

TAMPA - Moffitt Cancer Center and the American Brain Tumor Association will host Brain Tumor Talks from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 29 in the Vincent A. Stabile Research Building, David R. Murphey Conference Room, 12902 Magnolia Drive. The event is free and open to the public. Complimentary Gold Valet parking is provided.

Dr. Prakash Chinnaiyan of the Radiation Oncology Program will speak on Novel Approaches in Improving Radiation Therapy in Glioblastoma: From Biology to Technology." He will discuss the latest information on brain and spine tumors. Chinnaiyan is also a member of Moffitt's Experimental Therapeutics Program and is an assistant professor of Oncologic Sciences at the University of South Florida.

Patients, families, friends and medical staff are invited to hear the latest information and connect with others who have been touched by this diagnosis.
