Antique Evaluation Saturdays are Held at Henry B. Plant Museum

The Henry B. Plant Museum will host six more Antique Evaluation Saturdays from October through May.

"Bring your favorite treasures to be evaluated by one of their experts for $5 an item with a limit of four items. Tickets are sold from 10 a.m. to Noon. Evaluations will begin promptly at 10 a.m. If furniture is too large, you may bring a good photograph.

The evaluations "are professional opinions of value and are not fully researched. They are not intended for anything other than informal use and specifically not intended for tax or financial purposes."

The evaluations take place in the Music Room located in Plant Hall, the large building with the silver minarets on top. Plant Hall is on the campus of The University of Tampa, just across the river from downtown Tampa at 401 W. Kennedy Boulevard. Reservations are not necessary. Parking is free in front of the building and in the staff and faculty lot to the rear of the building.
