In the Zone Youth Basketball League Starts at Southwest Recreation ComplexLARGO - Registration is now open for Southwest's In the Zone Youth Basketball League for children ages 9-16. During this eight-week season, individuals will attend practices and playoffs while learning the basics of the game in a team setting. Participants are divided into age appropriate groups: 9-10, 11-13, and 14 and over. Practices are held every Wednesday, and games every Saturday at the Southwest Recreation Complex, 12100 Vonn Rd. Evaluations are scheduled for Sept. 26, and season play runs from Oct. 10 - Dec. 12. League fees are $55 for residents and $68.75 for non-residents. A league jersey will be provided.
