Clearwater Horseshoe Club to Host Open House/TournamentThe Clearwater Horseshoe Club will host its first Tournament on Saturday Oct. 3rd, starting at 9 a.m. The Open House is to invite men and women who would like to join the Clearwater Club and become an active participant and member. Members of the club will provide pitching instructions and demonstrate various techniques in releasing the shoe. Equipment is available. This is a handicap league. The Open House will be held between 9.30-11.30 a.m. After the Open House you are invited to stay and watch the Tournament. See some of the best pitchers in Florida participate. This is the time of year that you can start enjoying the outside cooler weather and participate in a fun sport. This sport is about having fun. What a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon. League play for Tuesday and Thursday starts Nov. 3rd and 5th from Noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday League starts Oct. 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. The Club has 18 courts and sits in the middle of Ed Wright Park.
