Overview of Molluscan Fisheries Program is Topic at Seashell Club MeetingCLEARWATER - The Suncoast Conchologists Seashell Club will hear Dr. Stephen Geiger, of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission, tell about the Commission's efforts over the past 20 years in restoring scallops, oysters and other molluscan fauna to their natural habitat in Tampa Bay. His program will be presented at the October 6th meeting of the Clearwater Club. Dr. Geiger is a Research Scientist and head of the Molluscan Fisheries subsection of the Commission. The club meets at 7:30 p.m. in the fellowship Hall of Trinity Presbyterian Church located at the corner of Hercules and Rainbow Drive in Clearwater. The meetings are open to the general public.
