Safety Harbor Public Library to Participate in Global Meet-UpThe Safety Harbor Public Library will participate in "The Common Ground" on Saturday, October 3, from 1 to 4 p.m. The "Common Ground" event consists of institutions around the world showing the same photographic slideshows on the same weekend. The State Library and Archives of Florida will join the Powerhouse Museum of Sydney, Australia, the State Library of New South Wales, the Brooklyn Museum, the George Eastman House in Rochester, New York and other institutions to create this global meet-up to celebrate historic photographs from the world's public archives. The Library is located at 101 2nd Street N., Safety Harbor.
