Business and Professional Women to MeetDr. Karen Brown Dunlap, president of the Poynter Institute in St. Petersburg, will be the speaker on Thursday, Nov. 5., at the Business and Professional Women Meeting. The group meets at 400 Beach Seafood and Tap House located at 400 Beach Drive NE in St. Petersburg. Dunlap is also a member of the Board of Directors of the St. Petersburg Times Publishing Company and is also on the board of the Newspaper Association of America and Eckerd College's Board of Trustees. A former reporter and writer, Dunlap has spent more than 30 years aiding aspiring journalists and is the co-author of two books. Networking begins at 11:30 a.m. and the meeting begins at noon.
