Veterans Day Golf Tournament to Benefit Dunedin Children's Christmas FundDuring the Holiday Season in 2008 the Dunedin Children's Christmas Fund brightened the holiday Season for 379 children. The fund is now literally broke and the prospect of being able to bring a ray of sunshine to those less fortunate children is dimming. Now you can help out these children. On Saturday, November 7th, you can enter the 16th Annual Veterans Day Golf Tournament to be held at the Dunedin Country Club. The 8 a.m. shotgun start tourney cost is just $75 a person with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall, Women's Flight, Family/Couples Flight, closest to pin and longest drive for both men and women. There will also be a sports memorabilia auction and a free lunch afterwards at Nortons on Main Street in Dunedin.
