Recs and ReadsBy Anne McKay GarrisDon't miss the Halloween Party tonight at the Clearwater Beach Recreation Center, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Fun for all ages is awaiting you. Throw on a costume, or come as you are, to join your neighbors in a pleasant evening, filled with games and entertainment, prizes and excitement. The Clearwater Beach Library will be participating with a craft room for the little folks. Starting in November for you "workout" enthusiasts (and should-be enthusiasts), Jewels is back and ready to start urging you towards a better you with a program of exercise on the stability ball. This program starts on November 16 and will be on Mondays, from 11:00 a.m. to Noon. This year, Jewels will also be offering a variety line dance with all kinds of music, on Wednesdays, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. "This," she says, "is fun and great exercise." Meantime, here's a reminder that the Beach Library hours are now 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We need more volunteers in the Library, now that the winter season has begun with residents returning and visitors arriving. Just stop by and give our Librarian your name. It's easy work in a pleasant environment. Your reward is getting to know some interesting people, and knowing you are helping your community. See you at the party tonight!
