Ex-Nurse Turns Mrs. Fix-It
A registered nurse for 37 years, Betsy Lieberman is now a successful executive manager for Tomboy Tools, Inc. She will demonstrate her PINK Tools at the Clearwater After Five Club dinner on Thursday, November 19th at 6 p.m. The dinner will be held at the Hampton Inn at 100 East Bay Drive in Largo. All ladies are welcome. Growing up with brothers, Mrs. Lieberman learned to fix things just as they did but struggled with heavy tools too big for her hands. Now she has her own easy-to-use and light-weight pink tools when she volunteers for Habitat for Humanity homes. Tomboy Tools, Inc. offers hands-on-training and high quality, ergonomically designed tools for women around the world. Some part of the proceeds from the sale of their products support the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. Rita Hinton, nationally known speaker, author, artist and formerly a high-fashion model in Europe, will be the inspirational speaker at the dinner. She will relate her childhood memories growing up in a communist country. Happily married and full-time mother of six children, she and her family now live in Sarasota. For more information or reservations, call Darlene at (727) 244-3358 or e-mail: drbender@tampabay.rr.com by November 17th. The cost for the dinner and program is $8. Clearwater After Five is one of the volunteer groups of Stonecroft Ministries, a non-denominational outreach for women and couples.
