Miracle at HSP - No Time Limit of Adoptable Pets Policy

A Must Share Success Story!

CLEARWATER - On Friday Humane Society of Pinellas said "Farewell" to a gal they called Cara. This Pit Bull Terrier mix came to them as a stray back in January 2008 with a wounded eye. After her medical needs were tended too, Cara was available for adoption. Fortunately for her, HSP has a "No Time Limit of Adoptable Pets Policy".

For nearly two years they have shared Cara's story in the media through multiple outlets. She went out on "Field Trips" hoping to find her new best friend without luck. Cara stayed in the Adoption Center as HSP's official Meet and Greet dog where she could be seen by all visitors. HSP staff and volunteers all had fallen in love with this gal during these past 22 months.

Now appropriately named Karma, she connected with her new daddy who had made a few visits checking in on her before making such an important decision. With patience, he allowed all to gather and say "Farewell" to this lucky lady. HSP has even heard from other family members referring to her as the new niece in the family. It is everything HSP had hoped their little Care Bear would find - time will tell who the lucky one really is!
