(from left) Karen Crown, former executive director of the Upper Pinellas Association for Retarded Citizens, joins longtime Festival of Trees volunteers Bob Baker and Betty Ferris for a photo at the 25th annual Festival of Trees at Westfield Countryside Mall last week. The event, which features more than 100 decorated trees, is a fundraiser for UPARC. The "Barbie Birthday Tree" at right was decorated by The Girlz of Harbor Springs, Inc. (an organization composed of women from Palm Harbor and Tarpon Springs). It was awarded second place in its division.
Admiring the sparkling Swarovski Tree decorated by Bjoux Jewelers which was on display at last week's Festival of Trees at Westfield Countryside Mall are Baylee McLane and Jillian Keller. The tree with a variety of ornamentation at back was contributed by the mall. Its theme was "12 Days of Shopping".
