Property Appraiser's Largo Branch Office Relocates

PINELLAS COUNTY - As part of a cost-cutting move that will enhance customer service, the Property Appraiser's Largo branch office relocated recently across the Starkey Lakes Corporate Center complex to share space with the Tax Collector and Supervisor of Elections' offices, announced Property Appraiser Pam Dubov.

As of Tuesday, October 20, customers may apply for a property tax exemption or obtain property information at a dedicated area within the Tax Collector's office at 13025 Starkey Road. The Tangible Personal Property appraisers are based out of the Election Service Center at 13001 Starkey Road, one block southeast of the Tax Collector's office. All Property Appraiser Largo branch phone numbers remain the same.

Co-locating within the Tax Collector's office offers an added benefit for customers. A resident may apply for a driver license or auto registration with the Tax Collector and file a homestead exemption with the Property Appraiser, all in the same office.

"We'd like to thank Tax Collector Diane Nelson and Supervisor of Elections Deborah Clark," said Dubov. "Budget cuts have caused all of us to become more creative as we have fewer dollars to spend. This partnership enables all three Constitutional Offices a way to maintain a high level of service while staying within our budget limitations."
