Get the New Year off to a Great Start With Your Dog
Dog owners can get the new year off to the right start by attending a Learn the Basics of Dog Training Seminar at Pinellas County Animal Services.
The free seminar will cover house training, loose-leash walking and dealing with other challenging behaviors such as chewing and jumping. A certified member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers will conduct this free, fun and informative seminar. Registration is free and open to anyone who has adopted a dog from Pinellas County Animal Services or any other animal shelter in the county.
Since the information will be a surprise for the dogs back at home, Animal Services asks that only the two-legged family members attend. No dogs allowed at the class, please.
The next class will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 2, at Pinellas County Animal Services, 12450 Ulmerton Road, Largo. Register by filling out the On-line Registration or calling (727) 582-2600.
