Clearwater Women's Club to Host High Tea and Fashion ShowThe annual "High Tea and Fashion Show" put on by the Clearwater Women's Club will be held on Saturday, February 20th from 11:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m. at the Belleair Country Club (1 Country Club Lane, Clearwater). The public is cordially invited to attend. The cost is $30 (at the door $40) and proceeds benefit "Woman On The Way", a project of the St. Petersburg College (Clearwater Campus) to help worthy young women, many of whom are single parents, train for professional careers through scholarship aid. The fashion show will feature clothes from "Sun and Fun Beachwear." The $30 ticket includes the luncheon (fresh fruit appetizer, chicken marsala, jubilee vegetables, scalloped potatoes and a mini dessert sampler) fashion show and door prizes. Raffle tickets are also available for many donated Good Gift baskets and gift certificates.
