It All Began On Clearwater Beach
January 25 was a special day for George and Lucille Weiss. It was a day for recalling happy memories of the day they said "I do" and the honeymoon they spent on Clearwater Beach back in 1950. They stayed at the Copa Cabana Motel and dined at Heilman's Beachcomber. Both establishments are still operating today. This week the longtime Island Estates residents are back at Heilman's to celebrate another special occasion - their 60th wedding anniversary. We at the Clearwater Gazette extend our congratulations and best wishes to the happy couple. Lucille is a writer whose poems are featured regularly in the Gazette.
