IEWC Puttin On The Ritz Scholarship Fashion Show Was A Great Success…And A Lot Of Fun!

The Island Estates Woman's Club annual scholarship Puttin on the Ritz Fashion Show brought out our members and their guests in their finest attire including some vintage wear to enjoy the luncheon at Belleair Country Club and to admire the beautiful fashions by Patchington's of Belleair Bluffs that were modeled by our own members. The fashion show started with entertainer Christine Joyce and back up music by D.J. Doug with the song Puttin on the Ritz, and they were joined by two members, Dee Bucklew and Bev Kennedy. Not only did the members model, but they also worked a great raffle, along with granting door prizes and a silent auction, which made this event a big success for the scholarship fund. Again, we would like to thank the business owners, merchants, and individuals who so generously contributed either gifts or gift certificates for the scholarship fashion show. It's Mardi Gras time at Heilman's Beachcomber's "Fat Tuesday", February 16th. We will be having some fun by kicking off a little celebration - so wear your purple, gold and green beads, grab your mask, and join our celebration!
