Democratic Women's Club Celebrates Black History MonthIn recognition of Black History Month, Honoree Claretha Witherspoon will be the guest speaker at the February 22 meeting of the Democratic Women's Club of Upper Pinellas. Claretha with share wonderful memories of her cousins, Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson and his older brother, Silver Medal Olympian Matthew "Mack" Robinson; along with stories about her husband's old Navy friend, "Roots" author Alex Hayley, etc. Discussion will follow. The meeting will be held at Stacey's Buffet, 1451 Missouri Ave N, Largo.
