IEYC Attends Investment Class At Hard Rock CasinoBy Al and Sheila Cole
Photo by Sandee and Jim Pfister Thirty-six members and guests gathered for a bountiful lunch buffet and libations at Tommy Duff's Pub at noon on January 17th before boarding the buses to the Hard Rock Casino. The mood at Tommy's was gay and exciting and we could have stayed there and partied, except that the buses were ready to board. The fun and camaraderie continued on the buses, as we envisioned becoming big winners. Members passed each other at the slots and blackjack tables as they made their way to the winning machines, sharing their good or hopeful news about being winners. The food court and sports bar turned out to be great places to take a break, people watch, and then head back to the poker room or gaming area. Gathering to board the buses, hearing everyone tales of being winners and trying to do a head count, led to material for a comedy skit before boarding the buses and heading back to Clearwater. The last stop for this fun evening was at Tommy's Pub for a nightcap or late bite.
