Rotary Club of Belleair Promotes Reading at Clearwater School

Students at Belleair Elementary School in Clearwater show the dictionaries that were recently distributed to each 3rd, 4th and 5th grader courtesy of the Rotary Club of Belleair. The club "adopted" the school some 20 years ago and each year provides classroom teachers funds for school supplies. Club members have also mentored students over the years. A reading book has been donated to the school library each week and incentives to read have come in the form of points awarded the students for books read. The student in each grade, 1-5, who accumulated the most points received a new bicycle and helmet from the Rotary Club of Belleair.
