
"Team Under Pressure" Wins Sarasota-Bradenton Open

Team Under Pressure, based out of First Lutheran at 1644 Nursery Rd. in Clearwater, take the championship with potent and balanced offense, and suffocating defense to win in Sarasota for the second year in a row. In the preliminary round to get a berth into the Championships, Team Under Pressure used the sharp shooting of Paxton Wilson of Plumb Elementary; the slashing, attacking of the basket by Letrell Randall of Belleair Elementary; and the inside scoring of Eddie Williams Ridgecrest Elementary, to beat the Sarasota Gators 58-35. In the Championship game, facing Florida Phenoms out of Naples, the inside dominance of Danny Neugebaur of Our Lady Of Lordes, and the point guard play of Julian Thompson Ozona Elementary and the stifling defense of Joel Kulaga of Skycrest Christian preserved a 49-21 win.
