Volunteers Needed for Courtney Campbell Parkway CleanupCLEARWATER - The City of Clearwater will be participating in the Great American Cleanup by hosting a cleanup event Saturday, March 27, from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. The cleanup will be held along the Courtney Campbell Parkway, just east of the intersection of McMullen Booth Road and Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard. During the clean up trash, litter, and debris from beach areas will be removed. If you plan on attending, please wear close-toed shoes and bring a pair of gardening gloves. Water, tools, supplies, and snacks will be provided. All ages are welcome, and service hours will be validated. Volunteers should park on the pass on the beach's south side. Parking is limited, so participants are encouraged to carpool to and from the event. The event is sponsored by Keep Pinellas Beautiful and the City of Clearwater Parks and Recreation department.
