Largo Hosts Make a Difference Fishing TournamentLARGO - Largo Central Park Nature Preserve (150 Highland Ave. SE, Largo) will serve as the site for this year's Make a Difference Fishing Tournament. On Saturday, April 3, from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., children with disabilities and special needs participants will enjoy fishing alongside family and friends in this once-a-year event. Since 1996, Make a Difference Fishing Tournament has been helping handicapped children experience the simple joy and camaraderie of fishing and facilitating involvement in marine education and recreation. Lunch will be provided and prizes will be awarded to participants. Tournament entry is free with registration.
