Email to the Largo Mayor and CommissionersI just heard that there is a possibility that Southwest Rec Pool may be closed, I feel that this would be a terrible thing to do to the community. I swam there every summer and loved every minute of it. It is a great place for people of all ages to learn pool safety and get and keep in shape. It is also a way for kids to stay out of trouble. I feel that as long as kids are involved in some sort of after school and summer activities there is less chance of them getting themselves into trouble. I know I am only one person, but I truly feel this would be a huge mistake.
