National Puppy Day Weekend Activities Planned
In recognition of National Puppy Day, the SPCA Tampa will have a fun filled weekend March 27 - 28th with adoptable puppies and lots of activities, including:
- The Puppy Play Garden: March 27th and March 28th - 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. SPCA Tampa Bay Garden Area. Puppies are invited to play with each other in our backyard. Toys, puppy pools, agility obstacles, and more. Puppies ages 12 weeks to 6 months are able to play. All puppies must be up-to-date on their vaccinations.
- Just for Puppies Training Classes: March 27th and March 28th- 2:00 p.m. Education Building. Learn helpful techniques to overcome those naughty puppy behaviors like nipping and chewing, and how to successfully housetrain your little canine companion. The cost is $10 for the public, and free of charge for SPCA Tampa Bay adopters. Puppies up to 6 months of age are invited to attend. They must have their current rabies vaccinations. All participants must sign up online at www.spcatampabay.org to attend.
- Pet Boutique Tent Sale: March 27th and March 28th -1:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. SPCA Tampa Bay parking lot. All animals will score big in this sale. Dog, puppy, cat, and kitten apparel, accessories, and toys will be on clearance to make room for the new season's products.
