Table Tennis Enthusiasts Take Part in Pinellas Senior Games

CLEARWATER - Action was fast and furious as table tennis players ages 55 and over competed in the 31st Annual Pinellas County Senior Games at the Ross Norton Recreation Complex on March 6.

First place winners in the men's singles division were as follows: William Robbins (ages 55-59); John Reynolds (60-64); James Wang (65-69); Jose Borges (70-74); and Al Palumbo (75-79).

Taking first place in women's singles play were Nancy Dorsey (60-64); Nahed Williams (65-69); Ava Chau (70-74); Margo Lindsay (75-79); and Sari Kisbany (80-84).

The Senior Games, which are presented by Good Life Games, have included competition in basketball, golf, volleyball, swimming, bocce ball, horseshoes, Mah Jong, cycling, weight lifting, line dancing, billiards, shooting and bowling as of March 25. Coming up in the next two weeks are archery, track and field, pickleball, softball and shuffleboard events as well as a road race and sprint duathlon.
