
Palm Harbor Library Hosts Teen Creative Writing ContestPALM HARBOR - Attention, Palm Harbor teens ages 13-18! You all have the potential to be creative geniuses, so show us what you've got! In celebration of National Poetry Month and National Library week, April 11th - 17th, the Palm Harbor Library is hosting a teen writing contest. Write a creative short story or poem (1,500 words maximum) for a chance to win prizes and a spot in the Pinellas County teen publication, Mosaic. Submit your entries to the library's Adult Services Desk between Monday, April 5, and Saturday, April 17. Prizes will be awarded for the best short story and the best poem in two age categories: 13-15 and 16-18. No special submission forms or guidelines are required, but make sure you name and phone number are shown on a cover sheet. Good luck and most of all, have fun!
