The event featuring competition among teams representing Professional Association of Dive Operators (PADO) dive shops was a benefit for the Clearwater Adaptive Swim Team, which competes in the Special Olympics.
![]() PADO dive shop teams from throughout the state join the procession around the Long Center Pool during the opening ceremony of the 2010 Florida Scuba Olympics on March 27. The certified divers participated in fun events, which included an underwater bicycle race, buddy tow, balloon lift and tethered buddy swim. Medals were awarded for first, second and third place.
