Palm Harbor Library Exhibits Paintings by Lorraine PotockiPALM HARBOR - A collection of paintings by local artist Lorraine Potocki will be on display in the Palm Harbor Library's Art Alcove until April 29th. The tropical theme of this exhibit demonstrates how much Potocki loves to paint the local scenery. A graduate of The College of New Jersey with a degree in Fine Arts and Education, Potocki started her own business, Florida Pastels LLC, in 2008. "I'm living my dream and loving every minute of it." Painting with pastels allows her to capture the beauty of Florida's beaches, wildlife, and environment. She received the 2009 Volunteer of the Year in Arts and Recreation for her work at Bakas Equestrian Center - Horses for Handicapped in Tampa. To view her artwork, visit www.lorrainepotocki.com. The Art Alcove is open Monday through Saturday during library hours at 2330 Nebraska Avenue.
