Beach Art Center Presents Paintings of Kathy Stimson, Lana Kond
This painting is one of Kathy Stimson's portrait paintings that will be on display at the Beach Art Center. The oil paintings of Kathy Stimson of Largo, and Lana Kond of Redington Shores, will be featured at the Beach Art Center beginning with an Artists' Reception on Friday, May 7, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The exhibit will run through June 11th. Stimson will exhibit a large number of portrait paintings, and Kond will exhibit over scale flower studies and other subjects. Both women are accomplished artists, with work that is well worth seeing. The reception is open to the public and allows viewers a chance to meet the artists. The event includes hors d' oeuvres and a donation bar. The Beach Art Center provides studio art classes for adults and children, including a summer camp for kids, and offers exhibits of art by local artists.
