Recs and ReadsBy Anne McKay GarrisIt's official - now the pre-teens can participate in the Wii Games on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays at the Clearwater Beach Library. Anyone 10 and over is welcome to come and bring their friends, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. for a lively round of Wii. Tennis, bowling, and the very funny boxing game are some of the games available for young people to enjoy. Adults get their turn on Wednesdays from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and it's one of those, "try it, you'll like it!" things to do. Just picture your friend in a wheelchair, enjoying the excitement of beating you in a game of tennis, or getting back into the swing of bowling again. Once you get the T.V. on, playing the game is just like it used to be…at the tennis court, or in the bowling alley. When you're through, you might enjoy checking the videos available in the library for you to take home and continue the party. Anytime you're looking for entertainment or exercise from playing tennis without running a step to enjoying a book or a movie, you can find it at our Clearwater Beach Library and Recreation Center. Did I mention, also, enjoying our beautiful swimming pool?
