
Sheriff's Office Now Registering for Summer CampThe Pinellas County Sheriff's Office and The Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranches announce enrollment for a unique and fun summer camp is now open. The camp is free and offered to children 10-15 years-of-age, and must be a resident of Pinellas County. The camp runs from June 27th till July 2nd. What makes this camp so unique is the campers are supervised by counselors who are full time Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies from different facets of the agency. The children will be able to interact with the deputies in a positive manner and learn that they are friends. The Caruth Camp is located at 14770 SE Highway 19, Inglis, Florida (in Levy County.) Surrounded by nature, away from the city, the campers will get the experience of a lifetime. The camp offers a wide range of activities, providing campers with opportunities to learn new skills and make new friends. Some of the activities will include:
