Art in the ParkST PETERSBURG - Art lovers, supporters of the Chi Chi Rodriguez Academy, and anyone who believes that children are our future and wish to make a difference now, are invited to a special fundraiser at the Raymond James campus on Sunday, May 23, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. The private art collection of Tom and Mary James will be on display, and the cuisine of Frank Chivas and Baystar Restaurant Group (Island Way Grill, Salt Rock Grill, Marlin Darlin) will be served. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on works from local artists. Tickets are $100, with all proceeds benefiting the Chi Chi Rodriguez Academy's annual program fund. Using the golf course as a living classroom, the Chi Chi Rodriguez Academy's mission is to assist at risk children by improving their self-esteem, character, and work ethic, and to aid in their social adjustment, and enhance their academic performance.
