Clearwater Community Woman's Club Awards Grants

CLEARWATER - The GFWC Clearwater Community Woman's Club awarded five grants at the club's 39th Daisy Luncheon and Fashion Show at the Belleair Country Club. The 2010 CCWC Daisy Grants were awarded to the following deserving organizations: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Pinellas Inc. - Funding will provide tickets for live theatrical productions to Big Brothers Big Sisters and their matches. College Fund of Pinellas - This grant will be used to give scholarship assistance to area college students. The Kimberly Home Inc. - Funds will help purchase new educational programs to be used with clients. Lighthouse of Pinellas - These funds will be used to upgrade computer labs to meet current industry standards. Pinellas County Historical Society - Will use their grant to refurbish the Heritage Village Interaction educational exhibits used by numerous school children and adult visitors to Heritage Village.
